The implementation of Malaffi, as the first HIE in the Middle East, has fortified the position of Abu Dhabi as a regional leader in technological innovation and advanced healthcare. On 25^th November, Malaffi participated in a webinar, together with Harvard Business Review Arabia and MTH Technology Review Arabia, to discuss in detail the true value of connected healthcare.

Hosted by Dr. Sana Farid, General Surgeon, Pioneer in Healthcare XR & AI, President VRAR Association MENA, the session, was titled "Unlocking the Value of Connected Healthcare". Participants explored how Abu Dhabi is using technology to improve care coordination, efficiency and outcomes and how it can support the transition to patient-centric and value-based healthcare. The session also highlighted the value of connected healthcare during the recent pandemic. Expert panel members included Atif Al Braiki Chief Executive Officer, Malaffi, Dr. Hamed Al Hashemi, Director, Strategy Division, Department of Health Abu Dhabi and Bader Al Qubaisi, Chief Information Officer, Abu Dhabi Health Services Company - SEHA.
