We would like to announce the appointment of Robert Denson as the Acting CEO of Abu Dhabi Health Data Services (“Malaffi”). Robert will succeed Atif Al Braiki who was a critical driving force behind the establishment of Malaffi; the pioneer Health Information Exchange (HIE) in the MENA region, now serving as a benchmark for other regional HIE efforts.

As Senior Vice President of Operations and Technology since 2019 and part of Malaffi’s Executive Leadership Team, Robert has played a pivotal role to the success of the organisation.

During his career, Robert has accrued over 15 years of experience in a variety of areas, including information technology, strategic management and service delivery management from various organisations, including HIEs.

In the new role, Robert will continue to lead the organisation and advance the Malaffi platform so that it remains to be a key enabler of the healthcare digital transformation strategy of the Department of Health, while improving outcomes by bringing better real-time clinical data and meaningful insights to providers, patients and the greater community in Abu Dhabi.
